2015 Calendar

I will not claim to have the perfect calendar. However, after  a number of years studying it, this is the conclusion I have reached. I am not alone in my calculation, either. If you go to the "Calendar" article in the "Controversy Corner" (which you can do by clicking here) you can watch three videos by 119 Ministries to fully explain WHY these calendar dates are the way they are. Below is a .pdf file that is available for download, as well as the calendar document itself embedded into this page.

For quick reference, here are the dates for the (Gregorian) calendar year 2015 [NOTE: All dates are for when the days are kept on the East Coast of the United States, based on the New Moon in Jerusalem] {NOTE 2: Remember that all days begin the evening before}:
  • Pesach Day [14th Day of 1st Month]: Thursday, April 2nd
  • 1st Day of Unleavened Bread [15th Day of 1st Month]: Friday, April 3rd
  • 7th Day of Unleavened Bread [21st Day of 1st Month]: Thursday, April 9th
  • Shavuot [7th Day of 3rd Month]: Sunday, May 24th
  • Yom Teruah [1st Day of 7th Month]: Sunday, September 13th
  • Yom Kippur [10th Day of 7th Month]: Tuesday, September 22nd
  • 1st Day of Sukkot [15th Day of 7th Month]: Sunday, September 27th
  • Sh'mini Atserat [22nd Day of 7th Month]: Sunday, October 4th



For the Minor dates of Purim and Chanukkah:
  • Purim [14th Day of 12th Month]: Wednesday, March 4th
  • 1st Day of Chanukkah [25th Day of 9th Month]: Sunday, December 6th
  • 8th Day of Chnukkah [3rd Day of 10th Month]: Sunday, December 13th



Lastly, the dates that the New Moons times. Again, remember that this is for the East Coast of the United States. Each numbered point is indicative of its respective New Moon. 
  1. Friday, March 20th
  2. Sunday, April 19th
  3. Monday, May 18th
  4. Tuesday, June 16th
  5. Thursday, July 16th
  6. Friday, August 14th
  7. Sunday, September 13th
  8. Tuesday, October 13th
  9. Thursday, November 12th
  10. Friday, December 11th
